ALPHABET BEADS : You order Alphabet Beads and sometimes a few of them are bad. Well Iorder a lot of Alphabet Beads. However, I really love your sets of beads, and now I have a(heh,heh,heh) plan for after the operation!BTW, I'd probably sell some of them at a reduced rate in sets that sayimpolite words. A slightly fudged "drat" or "stinky" would mean so muchmore than a perfect set. You could sell imperfect punctuation ones in setsto use as swear words, like in comic strips.
ALPHABET BEADS : But here's where I get excited: If there are beads with good stamping onone side, and unreadable stamping on the other, I'd overstamp them with aflower or other cutesey pattern on there. That might be too much work foryou, but if you made a set like that as an idea, you could sell the onesided beads to people who want to save money _and_ try the same idea. I'dbe happy with the one sided beads - I'd file off the bad side, and useenamel paints to decorate the other side.For beads with both sides bad, I'd be delighted to buy them for just a tadmore than scrap. With that, I could file both sides and then enamel themwhatever way I wished. Or I could use the silver cubes as the support for amostly translucent Polymer Clay bead. That would be cool: a translucentbut not quite transparent bead, supported in the middle by a few perfectlyspaced alphabet block beads. You can't make out the writing, maybe, butthat's not the point. A sky colored tint surrounding the word sky, with afew clouds on the horizon... A polyclay sculpture of an aquarium, completewith translucent water and a silver fish (The word "FISH" done in slightlywonky beads)
ALPHABET BEADS : Talk to us. How low will you go to sell the damaged alphabet beads? I knowthat I'd be all right with the difference between the price of scrap silverand the wholesale price of the bead for beads with no perfect faces, and thedifference between scrap and retail for items that have at least one perfectface.. You don't have to settle for scrap prices for your wonky beads. Theonly ones going to scrap are ones that really are scrap. Great idea. I think I'll hang around you when you are on drugs.You get brilliant brainstorms...Wow, this is your brain ON DRUGS? I'm not *that* clever when completely lucid!Holy moley ... that's a lot of sad beads. Are they sterling? Surelyyou could get silver-workers who cast their own stuff would be able touse it. Otherwise, I sure hope your wholesalers give you a decentdeal, cuz that's a lot of waste...
