AMBER DANGLE EARRINGS : By some freakish alignment of the planets and a nice chance meetingwith an ebay seller I found myself the proud owner of 2 floor ticketsfor the sold out Cher concert with Cyndi Lauper as the opening act!The niece Julia and I went thursday night and its still dizzying tothink about!It was a difficult thing to dress for since after my recent weightloss none of my standard choices fit! My final choice after preparing3 different outfits was the most simple and comfortable. Black grannyboots paired with black boot cut pants from Target. Very nicepoly/spandex blend that felt like satin only they were matte. Asleeveless chocolate brown button up long vest top that tied in theback. It matched my current bronze hair color and made it stand out.An antique looking amber rhinestone choker necklace with matchingdangle earrings. Slept in sponge rollers that night before so that mymiddle of the back length hair had 3 inches worth of extreme curls.Piled the hair on top of my head and used some of the Ice Hair colorstyling glue in twisted copper
AMBER DANGLE EARRINGS : to high light bits of my hair. Smeared it in the palm of my hand thenused my fingers to gently pull out bits of curly ends and colored thetips. Made a nice contrast in the lights with out screaming I coloredmy hair.Julia wore a period 40 dress with a floral print in chocolate brownwith matching velvet trim. She carried a little sewing basket as apurse and wore her hair in a flip. We both went for deep brownlipstick and I used one of the moisturizing top coats for theLipfinity lip sticks in sheer bronze.Cyndi gave an incredible hours worth of entertainment including thefive new songs from the Shine CD.It was as amazing to see her now as when I saw her perform back in the80s. :0 )Only stayed for part of the Cher performance since the base was soloud it really did drown out the songs and created an instantheadache. The Bob Mackie costumes for the tour were stunning and Ibought the program book just for the photo's of the costumes. Mycoveted Cyndi t-shirt is still draped over a chair to be admiredbefore finally wearing it!
