Unfortunately for him, he's rather too baby-faced for the MBaDtK look to be particularly convincing, even with blackwraparound sunglasses, dangly silver cross earrings, and a stud in oneeyebrow.

CROSS EARRINGS : Knowing I'm going to get more than enough flack for this post, I must.We are not supposed to pray to the cross. It is a major no-no!First of all, let me say this about myself: I have studied many"religions". I have found something truly wrong with them and moved on. I will only speak of my first true faith: Baptist. Lived in KY, andattended The Church of God in Christ's Name (I was 9 yrs old). I didnot understand the reality of the cross thogh I knew Christ was murderedthere-on.We would sit in church (evening service) and darken the room, light upthe cross, focus on it while humming "At The Cross". I did soreligiously and faithfully. There were times when the minister wouldspeak while we focussed and hummed, that I would be moved to tears. Iloved the cross. I never had the cross earrings or necklaces that arestill popular today. Nor will I ever! Forgive me Father of myignorance!
CROSS EARRINGS : The cross is the symbol of death. Christ not only died, but he livedagain and is alive today. When people pray and focus on such things,they are commiting a terrible act of idolatry. Not by sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The cross: Made by man's hands in the materials of wood, silver, orgold. You might as well put up an Asherah pole. It is the same.Focussing your mind on that which is not God, does not move, speak, orhelp you in any way. Stay in his word: The Lord will instruct you wisely. Faith and not by sight!!! You don't need eyes to see to knowthat God is real, why a cross in prayer to be heard? God doesn't need astick man of you to know you're here. So, why do we need it to know hehears? Faith and not by sight!!!!!!
CROSS EARRINGS : The Kingdom of Heaven is within, it does not come with observation.saith Christ the Lord.That is a good analogy. We should never worship the Cross. The mentionof the Cross is in reverence for Jesus Christ who shed His Blood so that wecould be saved. The Cross of Calvary should always point to Jesus. He isour Savior and intercessor. Maybe that was what your Pastor was trying to accomplish but I wasn'tthere and don't know.
