CUBIC ZIRCONIA EARRINGS : Try checking out QVC! I used to sell diamonds and fine gems and can nottell the difference between cubics and the real thing unless I have myjewelry loupe. The prices on QVC are the best and the stones carry alifetime guarantee. Cubics look best set in 14kt gold. Good Luck!I have a multitude of QVC's "Diamonique" cubic zirconias. I can't tell them from my diamonds. In fact, I have sold most of my diamonds and purchased Diamonique rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces. I won't spend my money on diamonds ever again! You can never recoup their cost, and I have no one to leave what few pieces I have left to anyway. All mycz's are set in 14K gold--just my two cents worth (with lots left to spend!)

(The closest I've ever had to astylist is when I dragged Ashley into the communal dressing room atLoehmann's.)Stylists visit the designer showrooms and take armfuls of clothes home to thestars. They help the celebs stay off Star magazine's "Would You Be Caught DeadIn This Outfit" section and avoid fatal fashion faux pas.

The lesser star was told to choose another outfit.There is a celebrity stylist, I hear, who is an incredible slob and one timewhen a designer desperately needed some earrings back, he sent an assistant tosaid stylist's apartment. "There was cat urine and cat hair everywhere -- likeon these $20,000 gowns," says the assistant. "It was disgusting." But stylistshave done more than just ruin borrowed clothes.Celebrity stylists have, in my opinion, ruined the Academy Awards. I want tosee celebs uncensored -- and that includes their often incredibly bad taste.Only fashionistas remember that tasteful mint green gown Kim Basinger wore tothe Academy Awards when she won for "L.A. Confidential." Everyone remembersthat bizarre half-dress that she designed herself in consultation with Prince.That dress provided an insight into Kim Basinger's mind -- a somewhat spookyplace to be. But what fun is life without such risks?
