The filaments through the ears are often cheap metal with nickeletc. You could look for a gold jewellery maker that makes specifically forbodyjewellery *and* has a good reputation *and* doesn't use nickelor zinc in the alloys. Some of the thinner gold cbr's for piercings workwell in ears and get a few interesting looks :-)Yes, quite definately. Nickel and zinc seem to be good starters too. Weall accumulate junk from what we've eaten / breathed /drunk over theyears. Also you tend to be more minutely aware of yourself as you getolder.Over here I'd recommend one of the many certified complementarypractitioners, including homeopathy and reiki, which can do that sort ofthing. It takes a bit of time and patience to find the right solution, andcosts little over here.

Talk around tothose you know who have an interest in such ideas, and try and findsomeone with a good reputation and go and talk to them.Don't panic about it, its not life threatening, but sounds like a bit ofcareful and thoughtful 'tuning-up' will put your system back on top line.You can also look at your diet, see if anything relates to improvement orworsening, and alter that. And simple meditation and 'thinking' yourselfback to normal also is powerful medicine, strangely enough. :-)Just have a ? hoping someone can direct me on. I have a ring (16g) in myeyebrow piercing now...I like it, but it sticks out too straight and when Isleep on it, it cause s that nice little round indentation and some discomfort.Want to change to a curved barbell, but unsure of what size would be best forthis piercing. Had straight in before, but it causes the flesh in the front topuff out and looks like I got socked in the eye. A piercer from a differentshop said it may have been pierced too deep? I dunno'. 1/4, 3/8,5/16...decision's, decision's. =/ And by the by...can u suggest a good, securedwebsite to order from? I checked out a couple of sites that have some reallysweet eyebrow jewelry (as well as others...adding the addresses also...ifsomeone can tell me if they've heard of them, etc, etc.). EYEBROW JEWELRY : I decided to get my eyebrow done and i decided to investigate a bit onit today.I found some stuff that scared me a bit.. stuff about rejection. Howoften do this happen and how big a prob is it? does it happen toeveryone (as it sounds like in the eyebrow issue).Seems pretty boring to go and pierce the same aereas everey year becauseit keeps falling off...and how much does it hurt? more than drilling your teeth without anyanaestethic? :)And by the way.. just to freak u all out with my newbieness... wich sideis most comon to have eyebrow pierced?... left side, right?.. EYEBROW JEWELRY : Due to my parents' cultish church rules, I wasn't allowed to have Novocaineor anything at the dentist, so I know what it feels like. You really can'tcompare pain that occurs over the course of 20 minutes or so to the painthat you'll feel in only an instant. Once the piercing is done, it's not abig thing (to me, anyway). I don't think the actual piercing of anythingis bad if you have the right mindframe. If you think it will hurt, then itwill.The left side is normal; piercing the right side means you're gay. Justkidding! I got my right brow done because it was more aestheticallypleasing to me. I like a good degree of symmetry, so I choose which sidedepending on what else I have done. It's all up to you! No one willquestion your choice of brows, just the fact that you had yourself stabbedwith a needle on purpose (those pansies!). :) Hope that helps a bit.

It might happen to you, it mightnot.Why not get it done and then find out. If it rejects, it rejects. Though rejected pierces do tend to leave a scar in their wake as theytravel out of your body. If you think it's starting to reject, eithertake it out, or go see your piercer and see if it's saveable.Who cares how much it hurts. My eyebrow was nearly painless. It hurtsmore than brushing your teeth, and less than cutting your ear off. Who cares? Get whatever side done that you want.I have noticed that a lot of the people that I see have their left done,but I don't think it means anything significant.
