FAMILY RINGS : i don't know what to do. i just want to give up and die but then ithink of my beautiful little girl who turns two very soon and i thinki have to keep trying for her. buti can't do it alone. i have no helpother than a 30 minute appointment with my psych once a weeek - shecan't see more often or even take phonecalls from me becuase she onlyworks two half days a week. the hospital is supposed to have a crisisline, but there is only so many times you can be told to "piss off anddie" before you stop calling. that and they've written into my filethat they will not take more than one phone call from me within 24hours - which they measure to the second and that one phone call canbe "used up" by a family member ringing them up to say i'm suicidal,what can be done. no matter how many times i tell them its not fairto stop me from ringing their crisis line for a single phone call -something that has only happened like once a month - because someoneelse in my family rings up - i mean i don't control my parents or myhusband or anyone else. i can't stop them making phone calls. and onthe rare occasion they "let" me make a phone call, they hang up on meafter exactly ten minutes - even in the middle of sentences - thats ifthey haven't hung on my and told me to just go and die sooner.
FAMILY RINGS : i don't understand. i have always been respectful to them despitehorrible verbal abuse. i've been hit by staff before and just letthem do it.but when they started making up lies to family services about mesupposedly abusing my daughter (something i'd die before ever think ofdoing) to try and have her taken away because they don't think selfharmers should be allowed to have children, that was the final straw. i made complaints about them and they have been nothing but abusivesince.all i want is somewhere safe to go to when i can't take the flashbacksand memories of the abuse anymore, when i can't take the voice in myhead telling me to kill myself which only started when thepsychiatrist from the hospital started abusing me.it doesn't matter how many times that my private psychiatrist telllsthem i'm seriously ill - that i have schizophrenia, major depressivedisorder and a whole bunch of other stuff - PND, PTSD and socialphobia are the first that come to mind - and that i desperately needhelp. the hospital staff just don't care. and nothing can be donebecause the psych there that abused me just claims i have no mentalillness and therefore don't need treatment and i don't need to changemeds because i don't need meds, and that i'm just pretending to besuicidal for attention (when my charts shows quite clearly numerousnear fatal attempts in the last 18 months that he abused me for).
FAMILY RINGS : the hospital even claim they offered me a second opinion but "i'veread your notes, i've spoken to dr [the abusive one], and i see noneed to review you at all" is hardly a second opinion- he didn't evenlisten to me in the two seconds that i got to speak to him and saythat i was suicidal - yet later when i tried to go to the hospital forhelp, the staff claimed he'd written in my chart that he'd assessed mymental state- how could he when he just talked at me (not TO me) anddidn't let me speak. so it was no suprise that i went home and odedand nearly died from heart failure that time.but apparently its their hospital, they can do what they want - andwho cares that my tax dollars are paying for it.i just wish i could afford my psych's hospital, but it costs more thanmy family's weekly income before tax, for one night in that place. the only way to avoid that cost is health insurance - which is nearlyas expensive and has a 12 month wait before you can make a claim andif i don't get help soon, i'll be long dead by the time 12 months isup.
FAMILY RINGS : No--why should they be? Three rings are obviously not the most oftenused heraldic devices--but neither many of the beasts found in somearms. There is nothing *particularly* special about three rings, asany of the larger armorials will demonstrate. In Denmark, for example,you also have a branch of the Westphalian Uradel-family ofFridag/Freitag, which also used three rings, and indeed as their onlycharge. (Indeed, my fiancee's paternal Anglo-Norman family has usedarms since--at least--the 15th century which incorporate three"annulets".) And there is nothing "odd" about an object being repeatedin what you call an "irregular pattern". Try take a look in, e.g.,Rietstap and you will find lots of rings and plenty of objects in"irregular patterns".I suppose what you mean is that they have a subjective meaning to theindividual choosing them. But that is not the same as an objectivemeaning. Rings may be chosen as heraldic devices by some because theyare goldsmiths, by others because they look like money, by othersbecause their surname is Ring--and by some simply because they lookgood!
