Leon (3L)Southern Methodist University School of LawDallas, TexasI've taken to gluing 2 rhinestones or silver star sequins with eyelash glueright below the center of my collarbone ever since I saw Mira Sorvino on thecover of a fall Mademoiselle with the same thing. I really like the look, andit's really cheap to boot!MAC makes those little stick on jewels (a la Gwen Stefani sp?) but you canput them anywhere on your body. They weren't very expensive and they giveyou a number of different shapes, sized and colors along with a brush onadhesive.I got a triple strand version of this necklase, with three tiny cubic zircona. They look totally real, and I'm going to wera the necklace with my wedding gown- it looks great with the v-neck sleeveless top. The best part? I got it as acraft fair for $30.
FLOATING PEARL NECKLACES : Heh- I win the knock-off finding award :-) I found a cheap version for $4 at alittle store in the garment district. Not terrifically made, of course, buthell, if I only get one wearing out of it I figure it was worth the $$. This seems to me to be surefire indication os this trend headingquickly into the realms of cheeseville.My husband bought me the double strand diamond solitaire version for mybirthday a few months ago. I absolutely love it; I receive severalcompliments everyday on it. The necklaces come with several choices ofstone sizes. I have the largest stone paired with the medium stone -- Ibelieve the other option is the small stone paired with the medium stone. Other available styles are diamond pave crosses and diamond pave "balls." They are all also available in single strand versions. We bought mine at astore in the Dallas Galleria called Ylang-Ylang, though I believe NeimanMarcus also carries them.
