If your potential connection for ear rings is sellingthem to you for 20 Plat more then before, then perhaps you should considerdoing business with another jeweler instead of someone who jacks up theirprices.Personally, I never do reapeat business with someone who jacks their pricesafter making a quote. What they did strikes me as dishonest, and you arebetter served being someone elses customer.I agreed to make these earrings for someone for 30 plat, provided that hepay me now as an 'investment' if you will. I'm on Electrum and Jasper now,so it will be a while, but his 30 plat to me now will equate to about 50plat to me by that point I figure.You might want to follow this example and find a willing Enchanter who is abit lower level in their jewelcraft skill, and seeking investors. I wascompletely bankrupt and couldn't get my skill going without this donation.You may have to wait a week or so (depending on their obsession withincreasing their skill, I have increased mine 50 points over a 3 day period)but it will be well worth it, and you will have made a pretty decentfriendship in the process.

That was some time ago, when there were few peopleselling them. Try sending a tell to Jamez as well, I hear his pricesare good.Don't go through Jamez on E'ci. At least for part of his career he wasscamming players. GOLD EARRINGS : Does anyone know anything about Indian (from India) earrings? One of thedarling Sri Lankan guys brought me back some fabulous earrings. They arestamped 18K, and they are studs. The post part is threaded, and the backsscrew on. The backs are rounded and smooth, so they are incrediblycomfortable to wear. Only trouble is that they are tearing up the holes inmy ears. Do you have any idea if this is due to the threading on the post,or maybe some different alloy that they use? I am not generally an allergicperson.I would certainly try to get them checked out. If the post are 18K meaning18K they are probably telling some weird things. Anyhow it is no pure gold,which would give problems as a result of the softness, especially with thescrewed thing on the back. If the post is threaded all over, it might causeproblems (wear and tear) which might be increased as a result of minorunregularities in the thread. 18K gold, would be soft enough to scratcheasily. Scratches on the thread would almost certainly cause problems.
