ICED OUT EARRINGS : So, for the first few minutes that the Mouse was parked in Bloomington(where, by the way, it stayed parked all weekend), the Passenger (whowas to be the Driver, this time) ran about the house, packing thingsand yelling at her roommate, who was refusing to eat a loaf of breadthat wasn't "aesthetically pleasing".Meanwhile, a few blocks away, the Other Passenger (who was a surpriselate addition to the Carlet Crew) had thrown her back out reaching forher speed seduction manual, which was beLOW her. She was otherwiseready to leave, however, and waiting patiently, if painfully, for us.After we'd loaded some aesthetically pleasing cinnamon rolls into thetrunk of the Carlet, we drugged the Other Passenger, stuffed her intothe back seat, and set off.
ICED OUT EARRINGS : The customary blinding thunderstorm found us as we found I-70 (we'dtried to fool the weather by taking a new route out of Bloomington, tono avail), but had ended by the time we stopped for breakfast at theTerre Haute IHOP (which had migrated a few miles farther away from thehighway since our last visit).The Passenger (who was actually Driving, this time) and the OtherPassenger (who was busy preparing for a date by speed reading her speedseduction manual) ordered coffee. I made do with something that calleditself "iced tea" but had little actual resemblance to that beverage.(The Passenger's roommate would have refused to drink it because itwasn't "aesthetically pleasing".)The Passenger (who was, in reality, the Driver) and the Other PassengerYou must not have been there for the part where Seth's plate Speed-Seducedyou-know-whom.
