JADE BRACELETS : Seriously. I haven't committed myself to this alt yet to the point whereI want to flush multiple Kpp into him, but I have started beefing him upa bit. And the armor choices are fucking _hideous_ for stats! I can'tjustify trying to drag a bunch of guildies into Karnors just to get myalt some flayed skin (and I've seen none for sale yet in EC) but theother choices which are easier to get are simply awful. Currently havesome of the Damask armor from Najena in several basic slots, and yes,it's very light weight, but nothing in the stats dept. The gossamerstuff from Unrest I could probably grab up solo, but again, that's maybeone more point of AC per slot and still no +INT or resists of note.
JADE BRACELETS : I've already got a FBR for the chest slot, will shortly have a festeringcloak for the back slot, hollowed bone bracers for the arm, and a stonecirclet for the head, (thinking about upgrading that to a dark circletthis week) but the rest is primarily damask and it blows. What are somefairly doable upgrades that I could work on to make my little dark onebetter outfitted? (Going more for functionality than style, of course.I'm looking for AC, HP, INT, Mana primarily. Some commonitems for your necro are probably Stein of Moggok, Sapphire necklace, PBB's,(that belt from LGuk), frozen mantle (yes it sucks, no there aren't manyeasy items instead of this one) and int earrings and rings.The initital stat enhancers for casters are almost all in the non-armorslots. All the better armor is almost always no drop or very hard to get.The Flayed Skin is rather crap as well. I offered the leggings to a nearbynecro and he asked me why he should want it...
JADE BRACELETS : The fbr is .. nice. Might go for an Advisor, Oracle or Crystalline Robe.Also get a black tome with silver linings (sp?) for the main hand (Stein inoff).For the arms there is the Gatorscale Sleeves. Also get some10mana earrings while you're there in Xorbb (polished bone hoop).Buy a velium Sapphire necklace, 8 str/int (useful also for the str)If you don't want to dump money on him, 2 +2int rings, and the gold jadebracelets are cheap.
JADE BRACELETS : Get a level 19-20 alt over to the warrens to farm Prince Bragnar for a cloakof the forlorn with 3int on itGet your group together and take out the snake titan in SB for a Mantle ofthe Elder Serpent (4int)Farm the kobold camps in SB with a 20-22 alt for a Forlord totem for 2 intin either hand. (or just vendor check)There's also the Skull of Jhen'tra from the gnolls in Lake Rathe, 20mana 3svmagic.Hell, even just do the SolRo shadowbound armor quests, get a Robe ofenshroudment, ShadowBound gloves and boots, 4int on robe, 3 on gloves,15hp/mana on boots. Plus semi-high int caster AC and some other nice stats.Also, the Harvester quest in SolRo, great stuff for a human/erudite necro toget rid of that damnnight-blindness and 5int in offhand
JADE BRACELETS : Weapon wise, if you cant find an Int staff, if he's erudite, go get theNoclin's Femur from Paineel easy (on the necro, everything of the quest iseasy and no drop) otherwise just go get a Crystal Grinder, for the ACprimarily, if you cant kill the guy in CC, just wait, one will rot =P (andgrab him a 25% WR herbalist pack while your at it, int casters havenotoriously bad STR)LOL this is your first pure caster, isn't it? Forget all about AC, the goalhere is NOT to be hit, so AC is almost worthless.Necros are interested in INT and Mana ONLY, until such time that you getclose to 200 INT, then and only then do you need to concern yourself with ACor HP (my personal preference is HP since AC will always be a joke).As to gear I don't BELIEVE necros get MUCH in the way of Necro-Only gear.Anything a wizard or magician want you'll want as well. Assuming thissection didn't go pay, and assuming you don't mind thousands of pop-up ads, used to have a good equipment database.
