LASER CHARMS : The other day, I saw a Road Runner toon in which the explodingpiano bit was done. As always, the tune was "Those Endearing Young Charms."I'm wondering now, in just how many WB toons did this gag appear? It wasin at least one RR toon (the above-mentioned Rushing Roulette), Show Biz Bugs(wherein Daffy rigs a xylophone with TNT; also in the full-length movieversion), and Ballot Box Bugs, the one where Yosemite Sam and Bugs are bothrunning for mayor. It seems to me there must be others. Anyone? It's certainly been an inspiration for me to exploreclassical music on my own. LASER CHARMS : I have done a lot of this and people comment on how nice it looks!This is what I do: 1.) Find the image that you want to use (can use rubberstamps orgraphics). Although I sell rubberstamps, I am still partial to usinggraphics because it is easier to reverse and enlarge the image you're usingon the computer. The image must be approximately 60% larger than thecompleted size and reversed if needed. If you have a rubberstamp designthat you really like, stamp it on a sheet of paper & enlarge approximatley60% greater than you want your finished product to be.2.) Lightly sand the shrink art plastic all over (I use the finestsandpaper available) and wipe-off the dust very good when done. 3.) Sometimes I need the completed shrink-art to be all one colordepending on what I'm making. If this is the case, now is the time tocolor the plastic all one color. I have used spray paint (gold) and I havealso used "Apple Barrel" acrylic paints that have been watered-down to aconsistency of watercolors. Paint the plastic sheet and let drycompletely.
