I'd be unable toparticipate in many GM run events. I would be forced to zone every time a simpleskeleton aggroed on me.Really? Try taking a level 30 party into Runnyeye to fight Borxx (who cons yellow).Try fighting Griffawns at level 20 (who con green).

It's called randomised spawns. Amongstthese spawns, you also randomise items. That way, there's a reasonable chance thatany one of N mobs worldwide can drop JBoots.With random spawns, people cannot camp, and if you cannot camp, you cannot farm.Mob X always appearing on position Y is the primary problem. All the farmer orcamper has to do is wait in position Y until mob X shows it's unfortunate face andBLAMMO!Random spawns means people have to hunt dynamically. Random items means that peoplewho hunt dynamically are rewarded for doing so.
ONYX EARRINGS : In my previous post I alluded to the fact that the Toxx forestand Kerra Isle are almost always empty on the Innoruuk server. Thisis because most of the new characters on Innoruuk are actuallyexperienced Innoruuk players looking to start a new character forfunsies. And experienced players know one thing that is true aboutthe continent of Odus: I don't count Erud's Crossing as part of Odus, so that leaves4 zones total on the entire continent of Odus: Erudin (erudnext),Erudin Palace (erudnint), the Toxxulia Forest (tox), and Kerra Isle(kerraridge). Here is a list of some of the (again, IMHO) legitimateproblems with Odus. * Not enough zones. I know that Verant is making 2 more zonesfor Odus, Paineel and the Hole, but unless Paineel is a city in whichyou can adventure (like Highpass and Highkeep), they're really onlyadding 1 more adventuring zone to Odus, making it a total of 3adventuring zones on Odus. And from what I hear, the Hole is going tobe a moderately high level dungeon, meaning that folks between 7thlevel and 25th level won't have any reason to drop by. Odus couldreally use a zone like East Karana, i.e. a good outdoor zone with avariety of MOBs of varying levels. The Grand Plateau or the BarrenCoast (both listed on the map included with the game) would be perfectfor something like this.
ONYX EARRINGS : * Poor design of existing zones. The Toxx is, IMHO, the worstnewbie zone in the game. Only the Feerrott comes close to the Toxx interms of low spawn rates and poor spawn density, and that's a problemthat only affects the 1st-4th level characters. When you hit 5thlevel you can start taking the lizard men across the bridge. North Qeynos, West Freeport, East Freeport: All three zoneshave a massive spawn rate, incredible spawn density, and greatvisibility. All for a race that doesn't suffer an XP penalty to leveland so doesn't need a higher spawn rate or greater spawn density. Qeynos Hills, East Commonlands: The continuation of the Humannewbie zones, these also have high spawn rates, high spawn density,and MOBs that can take you past 10th level (in Qeynos hills, fightingdread corpses) or past 13th level (in East Commons fighting orcs). Everfrost: Widely considered by many to be THE best newbiezone in the game. Great visibility, even at night, due to the whitebackground of the mountains. Everfrost also has MOBs to support aplayer well into his teen levels. A Barbarian could hunt in Everfrost
ONYX EARRINGS : I don't know. I think it would be a bit unfufilling to roleplay to an emptyzone.Even during primetime, I've never, ever seen more than 8 people in theentire zone. And usually half of them are just passing through on the boat.I'd agree with the orignial poster, theres a reason why nobody uses thatcontinent. The entire place sucks, and is in serious need of improvements.especially kerran isle...im so sick of that place, they should make it do if you pull one, 50 of themwont charge at you. the whole hardbor is probobly flooded with HG'sthat high guard spawns right at the zone line from tox forest. I canremember how much "fun" it was in a group pulling the standard 3-4linked kerrans to the entrance tunnel, and then having the high guardsuddenly start smacking/stunning me from behind. the only thing youcould do to avoid getting beat down while resting or meditating was tosit right in front of the zone line. that way, if he spawned, youonly had to get up and run a few steps to get away. I really want toknow why they would make such a high level creature spawn right at theentrance like that. I mean, it's not like the erudites that wouldhunt in there would have many hp anyway, being mostly wizards,magicians and enchanters. and with the high guard being that muchhigher level than the them, he resists practically all the spells youthrow at him.
