PEWTER BEADS : You know the flat bali beads, I think some people call them daisies? Theycome in sizes like 3, 4, 5mm and I think a little larger. I would like tofind some like this in Golf Filled. Does anyone know if anything like thisexists? The Gem Faire dealer I usually get itfrom charges $1.20/g-- she says it is "double dipped", and it's 22K on Balisilver (she sells the Bali ss for $.90/g-- about 2 to 3 times what the"economy" dealers charge). Usually I only use it for accents, in between beadsthat keep it from getting rubbed, but I've used clasps and earwires for "familypresents" that have lasted years without having the gold rub off.Other Bali vermeil I've seen is so thinly plated that you can see silver on thenew beads for sale. I have a small selection of Balisterling silver beads ordered (coming in about 4/3) that I'm sellingat $.65/gram plus exact shipping, but at a 50 gram ($32.50) minimum.A little more than a third of the beads are reserved already.
