PEWTER PENDANTS : I've scanned in 5 of the 12 script pendants in the set I'm looking for(to prove they are indeed out there, and show exactly what they look like):I would really love to find a good source for buying them--a betterplace than mylocal beadshop I hate going to. PEWTER PENDANTS : This is a post for a friend but you may reply to my address or news.---------------------------------------- --------------------- I need some help in locating a supplier for "Spiritualistic pewter pendants" that apparently are available in 72 models. The reason for my search is that my current wholesaler is not going to carry the pendants any more. I don't know of anyone else in Ontario who carries them. Unfortunatley, I don't have the name of the company that manufactures them, but I do know that they originate in the United States. To further my search and to help people recognize what I'm after, all of the pendants (which include different versions of the Ganesh, scarabs, an Indonesian Guardian, various phallic symbols, a pendant entitled "Close Your Eyes") come equiped with information cards with decorative borders that give a great description of the individual pendant.
PEWTER PENDANTS : Interesting post. As a practicing pagan, I find it highly insulting. Atrue witch or shaman, holds the earth and its creatures sacred. I am tiredof being lumped in with these so called *Satanic Cults* My hubby put itwell one time, how can someone who is not of the christian faith, worship apurely christian construct? As a practicing shaman or witch (whichever youprefer to call it), our first and formost rule is DO NO HARM!!! We don'tengage in sacrafice during our rituals, nor do we drink blood or engage inany of the other so-called *occult* practices that he lists in hisliterature on his website. The gentleman may have 30 years experience inthe law enforcement field, however, he has no clue as to true pagan beliefs.Yes, we celebrate the 4 major and 4 minor sabbats or holidays for pagans, infact, my favorite is Sowhain or Halloween. But the rituals he lists forthose are way off base for the majority of practicing pagans.Unfortunately, like the stereotypes given to gun owners, those given toPagans are also based on misinformation and media driven hysteria whensomething happens to upset their narrow world view. If you were to meet meon the street, you would have very little clues as to my spiritual beliefs.I am well-educated and dress and act as any other person you may meet inyour day to day activities. The only clue I have is 2 pewter pendants Iwear, one is a celtic goddess pendant and the other is a celtic pentacle,which by the way is not an evil symbol. It simply represent the 4 naturalelements, air, fire, earth and water, which combine to make up our spiritwhich represented by the 5th point. Nothing more, nothing less. Formyself, wearing these pendants have the same meaning as a St. Christopher'smedal for a Catholic or a Star of David for a Jew. It is my external symbolof my faith.As for his comments about the *signs of involovement* by teen-agers, hell,that describes 90% of teen-agers. Believe me, I've raised two and I'mworking on a third. They are alien little creatures at times, butsantanistic? I doubt it.
PEWTER PENDANTS : I have a store that sells my jewelry and the owner wants more catpieces. I am having trouble finding nice cat pendants (gemstone, glassor clay) that do not look girlish. This store caters more to women over35, so overly cute items will not work. Also, larger pieces seem to dobetter, rather than timy beads. Does anyone know of a source for catpendants?Have you seen the glass Siamese cats, about 1.5 inches in matte grayishglass and they hang from one paw, but are cute and happy looking. It is nota TGIF hanging on for dear life look. It really depends on the quality, you can only see so many little pewterskulls, but some of Alchemy's things are nice.
