PLATINUM HOOP EARRINGS : This "scumbagoftheyear" is the URL that has Laci's missing person's report, indicating that she was wearing her jewelry. Click on "Original missingflyer" on the left-hand side. It's on the FBI flyer too. Absolutely crazy, what woman gets up in themorning, puts on a diamond necklace and earrings to go walk the dog in thepark? To announce that there must be no criticism of the president... is not onlyunpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public...President Roosevelt - 1918Erm, a lazy or forgetful one? I went to bed last night wearing the following jewelry:* platinum wedding band* ornate silver and garnet "southwest" style ring, oval-shaped garnet approx 3 carats (it's good for thumping rowdy cats on the head with when they decide that tonight's the night they'll catch that dratted bed mouse)* three small silver hoop earrings* two silver and lapis earrings* one silver necklace with a 1" long silver mermaid charm* lapis, bone, wood and silver beaded anklet* silver toe ring
PLATINUM HOOP EARRINGS : I always, and I mean ALWAYS wear most of that to bed. The only thing I usually take off (but forgot last night) was the pair of lapis earrings, and even then I only take them off after I've laid down and they've poked me in the neck while I'm settling in. The only other time I remember consciously removing jewelry at bedtime was during the two-week period I had my engagement ring. It was a platinum ring with a princess-cut diamond set into it, and I was constantly cutting myself on it because I don't usually wear that kind of setting -- the garnet I'm wearing, for example, is recessed into the ring with a smooth band of silver keeping it in place instead of prongs. I couldn't take it anymore after two weeks. I was paranoid I would lose the ring or lose blood because I kept cutting myself, and I demanded we take the ring back. I didn't need an engagement ring anyway, but went along with it because of peer pressure, basically. PLATINUM HOOP EARRINGS : Surely I'm not the only woman in the States who falls asleep bound by metal and covered in stones. *blank smile*Nope, you're my kinda gal Thre! I forgot my toe rings and anklebracelet when I was commenting on this. I have a toe ring on each of mysecond toes, and a heavy silver ankle bracelet that stays on in the summertime. Sometimes I sleep in my necklace, usually not because I have longhair that tends to get tangled in it. And as I said, I usually wear longdangle type earings that hurt my ears if I sleep in them, but the rings stayon, usually around four as I change out the rings I wear on fingers otherthan my ring fingers. Your garnet sounds lovely by the way. I wear lots ofgarnets too, one of my favorite stones along with rainbow moonstones. PLATINUM HOOP EARRINGS : Same here. I wear (and sleep in) three gold necklaces. One is a fancy chain, one has a diamond solitaire, and one has a five- pointed star made of several diamonds. I have two pairs of earrings on all the time: diamond studs, and gold hoops below them. I don't think I've taken those off in two years except to clean them. Agreed. But Scott had to *report* that Laci was wearing the jewelry, to account for it being missing. I wonder how the jewelry noted in the "missing" report matches up with the jewelry that's been retrieved by the Rochas? I can't believe Scott wouldn't know that Laci had dropped her wedding ring off for repair - and thus reported she was wearing it. PLATINUM HOOP EARRINGS : She had more than one diamond ring, I think. At least if I followDarth Jackie's most recent howlings. Not sure which ring is referencedin the flyer. No, just looking at the pictures which don't show Laci consistentlywearing the same necklace or earrings:Just because some people wear the same jewelry all the time, doesn't mean she did, and unless you can find some picturesfrom late 2002 showing her wearing the same set of jewelryover and over, it's not too likely she did that. So the conclusionwould be she put on a necklace and put in her earrings. Orat least, that's what Scott *claims* she was wearing."Robert St. James (el corazon del demonio)" wrotein message ...Robert, you're gonna get yourself in trouble again trying to comment on'women things'. Of course we change our jewelry, at least some of usdo, with our outfits. I do, anyway. But the standards go back on when wetake the 'special' off. I have standard things I wear daily. Now if I'mgoing someplace special, or wearing a certain outfit, then the jewelry
