PROM JEWELRY : junior year, blah. i wore an ice blue satin gown with a chiffon train... itwas nice but overall i just felt icky. didn't really feel like going, butit was the then-boi's senior prom and he wanted to go, so i agreed. didn'treally do much with my hair (just kinda curled it myself and wore rhinestoneclips) and very cute silver silk shantung mary janes. (the best part of thewhole ordeal, i might add :P) to top it off, i was sick. had a grossevening.senior yeear, yay! the BEST time of all the 3 proms. i wore a black laceboatneck sleeveless top under a black velvet waist cincher by yosa and a bigpuffy crinkly black skirt. velvet ankle boots. and The Wig. this thing islike my favorite possession. you can check it out at - it's the massive purple one withthe flowers (and the write-up concerning some girl named Carly.) the wigand the cincher were the only things i spent any money on, and that was withthe intention of wearing them both again. i wasn't trying to put togetherthe most glamorous or expensive or even memorable outfit. i just wantedsomething i could feel good in and have fun in. i don't remember whatjewelry i wore. i don't remember what make-up i wore. i DO remember havinga kick-ass time and shakin' my booty on a platform in front of my entiregraduating class. i DO remember seeing a boy i had been in love with foryears but hadn't seen in ages, and i DO remember falling head-over-heels inlust all over again. i DO remember the totally pimped-out limo. i DOremember all the crazy fabulous people i hung out with, and i DO remembertaking over the dj's mic and leading several hundred classmates in a roundof 'Happy Birthday to You' directed at my best friend Kristyn, whosebirthday happened to coincide with Prom.
PROM JEWELRY : * * * * * ** * * * * *Ok everyone, if it makes me taking my parents away from you any better, Ihad a blast at prom! :) I don't know where to start. Ok, first, my hair. That was an ordeal in itself. My hair is a wild beast. It does what itwants. So since I was 15 minutes late for my appointment to get it done, ittook even longer to get the whole thing done. The stylist used about 79bobby pins in my hair and it looked amazing and wasn't too heavy. I hadthese twist things in the front and these snake-like things in the back. Itwas soooo cool! Anyway, when she was done doing my hair at about 4:15, wehauled butt back home and as we pulled up, Matt pulled up to drive me toprom. I almost died. I hadn't gotten my make-up on and my dress andjewelry was all sitting on the couch in the spare bedroom. I ran insidebefore he saw my hair. I pulled my dress on and threw on some mascara. Ididn't have time to do anything else. Then I put on the jewelry, tookpictures and left.On the drive there, we got lost almost twice. But navigator Jenna got usout of the jam!!! :) We got to prom 1/2 an hour late. But we got seats ata table with my friends. He hadn't made plans to sit with any of hisfriends. Dinner was soooo yummy. I had pasta alfredo with veggies andbread and he had salad, bread, steak, mashed potatoes, and veggies. Thenthere was this opening introduction from the president of the senior class. That was boring. I'm sorry, even Matt said so. She rambled about how muchshe wished she had done in high school... blah blah... :) After about 10minutes of her speech they started the music. We only stopped dancing about4 times for 2 minutes each so we could get water or soda or some sort ofrefreshment. Matt is such a good dancer! I was soooo happy that he coulddance! Anyway, they presented prom king and queen and we danced some more. All of a sudden, it was over. It was so sad. I could have danced forever.I didn't want it to end.Afterwards, we were supposed to go bowling. That got spoiled by the car PROM JEWELRY : Thanks for the details. Sorry we missed you at the picnic... but glad youhad a great time at the Prom."Suzanne" wrote in message...Hey Mom---Please post this to the newsgroup!!!* * * * * ** * * * * *Ok everyone, if it makes me taking my parents away from you any better, Ihad a blast at prom! :) I don't know where to start. And prom wasat the Westin Bonneventure (downtown LA). When we got back to the parking PROM JEWELRY : it's short for The Parents. she doesn't always like to say Mom and Paul, soit got shortened to The 'Rents.Well, 3-Year olds probably don't bring the latest lingo home from school toooften. I am totally hip to the latest gloss. No, really. Quit laughing!!!im glad you had a good time jeana, i personally never got to go to a prom, if i had the chance again to be that age, i'd have asked the girl i wanted to take... but hey!!!, didnt you know that when you leave the prom your not supposed to go bowling, like they always say, you go to dennys.... in our school some billions of billions of years ago, the place to go was carl's jr. i do recall one year going to a metallica concert, we stopped by a carl's jr. in a limo. that was kewl :))) PROM JEWELRY : "Suzanne" wrote in message ...
