STERLING SILVER CHARM BRACELETS : Yes on both accounts! As others have posted, charms are available at severallocations. Nice art posters are available at all of the gallery stores,including the one at the Marketplace. The one in the Marketplace (Art ofDisney?) I believe offers the Disney Club discount. We didn't make it intothe store on our most recent trip or our walls would now be gracedby an HM or PC poster!I do most of my charm shopping on Main Street. I can't remember theshop name but it is before the glass shop but after the candy shop. TheWorld of Disney also has a nice selection. I prefer silver. Be sure toinspect the charms throughly before purchase and stay away from the verythin silver park disks. They were labeled Sterling but have begun toshed. The detailed or 3D charms are a safe bet.
STERLING SILVER CHARM BRACELETS : For my 6 BM/1MOH: a sterling silver charm bracelet, each with a rounddisc, with her first initial (most of my BM were not married, and theirfull monograms will change) engraved on the front, and the wedding dateengraved on the back. Additionally I put a charm on each one that wasspecific for that BM:my friend who is very artistic--a silver artist pallettemy friend who went back to finish her degree after many years--a silvermortar board and diplomaFor my MOH: a similar bracelet, except for her I gave a small locketinstead of a disc. It was engraved also with her initial and date. There were 2 other charms on her bracelet as well; that is what made myMOH gift a little different.You get the point. Then for each BM I wrote a poem about whatever herspecific charm is (like 3-4 lines, nothing horrendous, believe me I amnot very creative)
STERLING SILVER CHARM BRACELETS : Yes, it was somewhat expensive, more than what I initially thought. Igot all of the bracelets at 50% off and the charms weren't tooexpensive. Also, hidden costs that I forgot to consider: engravingfees and soldering charges. But, in the whole scheme of my weddingbudget, the BM gifts didn't amount to much, and afterall, these are myfavorite girls in the world. Considering how much some of them spent toget here and buy dresses and shoes and hotel rooms and rental cars andother meals. . .!I gave my gifts at my bridesmaids luncheon, and when I read the poems,there wasn't a dry eye in the room! Unfortunately I am not the kind ofperson who often tells my friends how much I love them & how proud I am,and this was a great way to express these thoughts.
STERLING SILVER CHARM BRACELETS : I really tried hard to come up with something unique that could be usedagain. I also have 2 charm bracelets: one gold and one silver. Whenever I travel I add a new silver charm (easier to find & cheaper) tomy bracelet & I love being able to tell a story through my bracelet!Oh, and BTW, I asked my BM *not* to wear their new bracelets on thewedding day. I didn't want to give them a "gift" that was really justme contributing to the outfit for *my* wedding.
