STONE PENDANTS : Notes from NYC - Sierra and Kathryn are working hard up in the big apple.They report that they have found LOTS of carved stone pendants and a bunchof Tibetan turquoise. That's the darker green color and is the turquoise forfall this year. If you would like them to look for anything special for youplease email us back at this address and we'll pass it on. We just got in samples for the PapercraftingErnie, do you get the Bead & Button magazine? In the very backsection, they have some bead shops listed by State. STONE PENDANTS : Hi Linda, I am going to see if the Bead & Button mag has a web site. Itake it this is one you would suggest reading.? In the past, when Istart a new interest, I have ended up creating a small library andreading more than doing. This time I just bought a couple of books,read on the web and newsgroups, and jumped in and started. Probablymade some silly mistakes that could have been avoided but the peoplehere that have helped are a whole lot more enjoyable than the bookscould ever be. (plus I could reallocate the funds from books to beads Cary and Raleigh are pretty close to Durham. I have gottensuggestions to Ornamentea and their newsletter looked interesting so Iwill have to take a look. Ya'll have a good week and I'll pass on what I find when Ireturn. Thanks again, Ernie
