WINE STEM CHARMS : They are little rings that you put on your wineglass stem to identify theglass as 'yours' at a party. They are usually wine/food themed or have aholiday or other event theme.They are little necklaces that go around the base of wine glasses. That waypeople can identify their wine glasses in case they are temporarily misplaced.Quest Beads () has tons of pretty pewter charms. Be warned, their entire website is Flash-based now :-( but they advertise in Bead & Button and they do have a print catalog. If these people are into "decorating" as you say, they probably expect crystal rings on memory wire. Pick up some 4mm Czech crystal beads in colors that match their decor, and maybe add a few daisy spacers on each ring for extra class.

I think this is a bad business decision -- it will run off potential customers -- but apparently it's the way they've chosen to go. re: quest beads - i really didn't see much there other than 'order ourcatalog' - not much of an online presence, either. granted, the things they*do* show are nice, there are no prices, and no way to order them. wonder ifthey are planning someday to have an online store, or if this is just goingto be a 'nice music and art, buy our catalog' site??

I ordered them by phone (as I found thewebsite hard to navigate). They are more delicate (and antiqued) than whatthey appear on the website, though they are nice. The selection is good, andyou custom order them, so you get to choose what you like best. (I put a coupleof fish in there :-)They come with a square cardboard gift box and a card to hang the charms onwhich can be preprinted with your unique message.Ah... I tried "poker" "cards" and some other silly titles that escape me at themoment.

Not totally what I was looking for, but whenthe others arrive I will mix em in and it will be close enough. The ring isnot really to my liking but I can replace that portion, the service was prompt. I would recommend them. WINE STEM CHARMS : This is in the "WineThingies" section, then themed, then Vegas...and these arequite nice. And only $6.99.. Four are pictured, since charmers ususally come in6's I thought maybe there would be 6.. nope. only 4. But not a problem as I ammixing them anyway and for $6.99 well worth it and VERY nice.There is another section called "wine markers" with casino as a selection. These were kinda cheesy, plastic, as cheap looking as their picture on the siteVERY casual affair not a bad price of $6.99 for six.The last of the poker charms I ordered arrived today. This one was sent to meby private email and looked the most promising. However, later that night whenI went back to order, the website was unobtainable and remained thus for over aweek.
