WOODEN BEADS : I've wondered about this..... I can see how it would work for, say, 8mmbeads, but what about big wooden beads? How would you keep beads from creeping up the side and sneaking down into the middle/center of the bead? Curious............By the time you have gone through the centre hole a few times the hole will get smaller. As you pull the thread tight it is difficult for the beads to make a right angle turn into the hole. At the final turns you can pop a larger bead on top of the hole to stop any beads working down.Hope this make senseLoveShirleyAnd I know that some of us here collage, and could probably make some swellcollaged beads with the larger wooden beads. That would be gorgeous, neverconsidered it before.

WOODEN BEADS : I read this group every day for months, had to move to Pensacola to takecare of my parents for a year, and could not get it there. Back home now andI am so glad to find I can get back to the group. I sell mostlysemi-precious stone beads on eBay, and most of what I've learned, I learnedearly on in this group!For years, I have collected beads anywhere I could find them; I have lots oflarge(and small) wooden beads in many different colors that you don't see incatalogs very often. Any one have any use for these type beads? Do youthink they warrant enough interest to try them on eBay? Some of them are sopretty, and what I like best is you can also paint them if you need to!Just stick a toothpick in one end, the other end of the toothpick inStyrofoam and spray away!
